Hello,

This is Richard Kavanagh from University Computing
Services. I will be helping with the issues you
are experiencing with your account on your Mac
Book. It should be a fairly quick fix given what
I've heard about the situation but I'd like to
have the chance to explain how we set up Mac Books
just so you know what to expect. Are you going to
be available after your meeting tomorrow morning?
I should be available all morning and possibly for
a time in the afternoon. If this doesn't not work
for you perhaps we can just have an informal
little e-mail conversation. Let me know what works
best for you.

Hello Richard,

I hear you are in training, so I decided to email 
you.  Mary Bucy is having user account/ admin 
issues with her new Macbook.  She is at home but 
plans to be on campus in the morning(8:30am for 
drop off) for a 9:00am meeting.  If you could 
help resolve the user account issues on the 
Macbook and make her an admin that would be 
great.  She is not able to load programs or make 
changes since it does not recognize her as an 
administrator.  Even though she has a login on 
the laptop, she does not show up in the account 
list, which seems strange to me.  Her personal 
cell phone number is (541)602-1144.   Ellis said 
you could help her so I am going to call her and 
let her know that she can bring it in to the 
Service Request desk in the morning.

I am out on Thursday and Friday so I appreciate 
your help with this since I won't be available.
