sounds like his palms are touching the track pad
as he types which would literally click and put
the cursor where his mouse is. this can be fixed
by using a different keyboard or turning off the
track pad (there should be a "fn" shortcut on one
of the "F1, F2, F3, etc." buttons)

I was directed to an Equipment Loan form which I
will have him fill out for the mouse and keyboard.
I will keep the task open though in case someone
can help him with the cursor issue.

He also has an issue where when he is typing in a
document on his WOU laptop when the cursor is in
the middle of the document, it is as if he pressed
the mouse because the text will just to where the
cursor is. He is wondering if there is a setting
whereby he sets the cursor to track with the text
he is typing.

Also, he will be leaving around 11-12, not to
return again until after spring break and he would
like the spare keyboard and mouse before that if
possible.

He uses his work laptop at home a lot and would
like if he could have an extra keyboard and mouse
to take home.
