Hi Brian,

Sorry for the delay in responding. The printer in
question was received for the psychology division
through AIC  funding to support student work, so
we assumed that it was networked for student use.
Unfortunately, our computer lab is currently under
construction, so that printer is not available to
anyone for the next week or t wo. I will be
checking with other members of the psychology
division and the AIC to determine fi we should
have it networked for student use.

So for now, let's close this request. I'll get
back to you if we need it to be networked. Thanks
so much.

I sent you an email on the 6th regarding printing
to PY-PsycColor and have not heard back from you.

Could you let me know if you still want to keep

Chehalis,

The printer shows up as a faculty/staff printer. 
The students will not automatically get that
printer mapped for them because it is not a
student tech fee funded printer.

It is only deployed to Psychology Department
Faculty and Staff.

There are no security restrictions on the printer,
so literally anyone can connect to it and print if
they go to Start, Run and type:
\\bart.wou.edu\PY-PsyColor and hit enter.

She is able to print to that printer from her
office at TODD309, using the STSS software, but
none of the students can access and use the
printer from the actual computer lab. You can call
her, but are welcome to come to the computer lab
yourself and fix the issue.

She says she and students are unable to print to
their printer while using the STSS software from
the computer stations downstairs where the
computer is TODD316. it is only the color printer
that is having problems.


TODD316 is where the printer is located, 20091198[Edit Inv].
