Actions Performed:
- Found that the power cable to the CD ROM was not
connected, nor was the SATA port enabled in the
BIOS. I don't know if this was intentional.
- I reconnected the power cable back to the CD ROM
and the computer seems to be working without any
issues.
- I did notice that the screen was flickering
black when I first logged into Windows.
- After watching the computer for about 5 min. I
noticed that the flickering abated.
- I ran and installed Windows Updates. security
patches.

Current Status:
- The computer appears to be operating normally.

The CD Rom door won't open Ref 15 20070119[Edit Inv]. The 
device is jammed and won't open at all.
