Forgot to mention that Adam will be getting a
replacement HD and it should be here 4/21-22.

- Observed that the system hands on the BIOS screen.
- After about 5 min. a system error pops stating
that SATA 0 drive could not be found and gives the
option to continue or run diagnostics.
- unplugged all devices from the MB.
- Computer began to boot normaly, without OS of
course.
- Plugged in CD ROM and booted the system; system
booted.
- Plugged in HD and booted the system; system booted.
- Brought computer back to UCS.
- Ran built-in diagnostics on on the computer.
- System could not detect the HD.
- Listening to the HD revealed abnormal noiese.
- Plugged another SATA HD into the system.
- System booted up normally.
- Determined that the HD is failed and needs to be
replaced.
- HD has been placed no Adams desk with a sticky
with WOU # and Service Tag #.
- System is on the clover next to the wall with a
copy of the ticket placed on it.

the computer is located in lab HW 303. Brian would
like to have the tech contact him when they are
going to go and take a look at the computer to
make sure that there is no one is in the lab and
to make sure that he interacts with the tech. 

8:30-12 is when Brian is available to be around
tomorrow 4/20

the computer kicks into dos when it is booting up.
It wants to runs system diagnostics.Brian is
letting it run through the diagnostics.
