The records show it was ordered on August 2 and has arrived August 11th and we should be entering it into the inventory system and getting it tagged very soon and it will all ready for delivery. I believe Tricia was working on this and she has more details but she is out of the office until 8/30 but I know she will have more info once she is back. Tricia Flaherty	May 11, 2011 01:13 PM	**This is an email** Hello Dr. Foster, I have been notified that your office Desktop PC W#20070862 is suffering from a hard drive failure. You PC is just out of warranty and would come up on our replacement list starting this Summer. Due to you being so close to that replacement cycle we would like to replace you desktop computer at this time versus installing a new hard drive in a box that is going to be replaced very soon anyway. We have been offering faculty more options for desktop replacement in the last few years and that is what I want to address with you before we proceed to replace your desktop. You have a choice of operating system(MAC or WINDOWS PC) and laptop or desktop station. below are a listing of the standard specifications that these systems are and what is covered using replacement funds. If you need anything above or beyond these specifications the money to cover that would have to come from department or division funds. We can discuss the details and cost further if you don't think the standard specifications fit your needs. Let me know if which option you would prefer to get as a replacement. He tried to restart is but it is sticking on the windows start screen. Their is no mouse on the start screen. Its also making a louder humming sound.	Add Attachment
