That was most likely a communication error between
the printer and her mac laptop (she uses a USB hub
in between).
Resetting the hub, printer and laptop seems to fix it.

She has turned it off and back on and followed
directions in the manual.  When she turned it back
on the message was gone and it did print a couple
pages but then the error message came back. 
Lenore can let you into her office--she is in and
out all day.
