Bill,

Could you push the cycle for Dr. Khe to swap out 
his unit this summer.  Sriram is one of our 
heavier involved on-line course instructors and 
is a key faculty member in coaching other LAS 
faculty in on-line course development.

Hi Bill, Steve:

My computer will certainly not qualify under the 
normal replacement schedules.  However, it will 
make a significant difference to my productivity 
if my current work computer is replaced with a 
newer one.

Not only am I teaching a lot more online classes 
than before, I use audio and video materials as 
well--even in the online classes  On top of this, 
as I begin to simultaneously open a couple of 
programs and toggle back and forth, the frequency 
of my computer crashing has certainly increased.  
And, of course, while quite a few online students 
submit assignments in the latest versions of MS 
Office (is is 2010 version now?) I am still 
operating with the 2003 version, which generates 
its own hassles.

It will be terrific if this request qualifies for 
a replacement out of the regular schedule.  If 
there is anything else I need to do in this 
context, please let me know.  Thanks
