One more thought.
I do really love Outlook - not sure if that comes
standard any more.

OK

I figured as much.

My usual software is the usual - internet
explorer, MS office is pretty much it.

The software I try to demo is intermittent -
sometimes I bring in a personal computer just
because I can install it without any "issues" and
then delete it after the demo.

I use several other programs, but through the
Terminal Server - as long as I have that, I'm
golden.
I moved everything off my hard drive, so I am
ready for a swap-out any time.

Thanks

Hank

Okay, we will proceed on a Dell laptop for you.

Your request is not odd at all, we get this quite
often. The unfortunate part is that the policy
for replacement is super strict. It only allows
us to deploy a new station if we guarantee that
we bring the old one back. I'm sorry I don't
have better news.

Do you need any special software for the Dell
laptop?

Thanks!
Teresa

Excellent
I am ready any time.
thanks
Hank

PS an odd request. Is there any way I can keep
the old computer, and use it off-line to
demonstrate software in my classes? There is a
lot of special ed software I can borrow to
demonstrate, but it needs to be installed and
then deleted after the demo. It would be easier
if I had a dedicated machine I can do that on to
demo to my students.

Hey, right year, wrong number:
20070171[Edit Inv]
I would probably prefer a Dell laptop - as long
as it has an optical drive.
I don't keep much on the "C" drive so the old one
can be ready to go very quickly.
