I couldn't replicate the problem, I switched the
ports, and it was working fine.

Her mouse keeps uninstalling itself from the 
computer.

Her mouse keeps uninstalling and installing again.
 She has it connected via a USB connection and it
will make the da-dum noise and say she has
disconnected a device then it will connect again
right away.  She doesn't know if it is the USB
port or the actual mouse.  She might try a
different port for now and to see if that is the
problem, but she still wants someone to come have
a look.
