The scanner is down for good. I talked to Michele
about it and she is working on how to replace it.

Thanks, Teresa. Yes, let's keep our fingers
crossed. All the academic affairs units in APSC
use the scanner on a regular basis so we're in a
bind without it. The scanner is five years old
and may just be tired! I'm going to cc Dave
McDonald on this as he was good enough to
purchase this for all of us originally and I
don't have dollars in my budget for a new one.
I'll see if he is able to purchase a new one if
it can't be repaired. I appreciate all of your
help. Best regards, Michele

Hi Michele,

I believe Laven was by to see you about your
scanner. It does look like a belt slipped.
Typically we do not work on scanners but we
talked to Adam in our office and he said that he
might possibly able to fix it, so he will be in
touch soon to check into it.

Then if it's unrepairable then we will need to
put in a purchase request to have UCS order a new
one.

So we'll cross our fingers Adam can fix it. :)

Thanks!

The scanner in APSC 401 is not working. Laven
looked at it and it appears the belt is off under
the glass area. Talked to Adam and he said he
could look at it to see if can be fixed before
purchasing a new one. W#20060630[Edit Inv]
