Made sure adobe and windows were up to date.
Adobe being slow like that is a common issue with
Adobe Reader X.  They should have an update for it
soon but nothing I could do at the time.

Her keyboard and mouse were working just fine so I
told her if she was having that problem again to
try plugging them into different ports in the back.

Heather has a new computer, W#20101458[Edit Inv].  Dale set 
it up for her a few months ago.  Ever since she 
has received the new computer she is having many 
issues.  It's super slow, the mice and keyboard 
stop working at least once a day and she has to 
crawl under her desk and unplug and plug back in 
and then it stops working again.  Also when 
opening up Adobe it takes forever and then it 
shows error message - not responding.
