Done.  None of the software I tried would remove
it all the way, so I blew away her profile and
copied her desktop to the new one and it works fine.

She left her computer running for about an hour.
And when she came back it has an advertisement
saying "XPSecurity 2012 has found 33 infections"
she tried to X out but it continues to pop up and
wont go away.
