This task is now complete.  I have a temporary
machine in place.  We've ordered the necessary
PCIe firewire card to go in the new machine.  The
scanner currently connects via a PCI card that
isn't compatible with the new machine.

Hi, a follow up to Lori's email.   Please
designate this as a high
priority.  Either
a) replacement machine as planned
b) a different, temporary older machine to replace
this older machine
c) making this older machine work

No matter what machine sits there, in addition to
the standard library
lab profile we'll need additional software: Adobe
Professional, Epson
Scanning, ScanPro 2000 (for the attached microfilm
scanner).

Dear techs,
Could you open a ticket for this computer in the
library:

Copy center microfilm scanning computer  WOU# 20070138[Edit Inv]
The computer will no boot - it restarts itself
continually regardless of boot option for normal,
safe mode, and etc.
This is our only computer available for scanning
microforms so kind of a high priority for us. 
Also, Dale Goodell has been working on a new
machine for this station - it would be great if
that one happens to be ready?
