Good evening UCS Help Desk staff:
 
I am e-mailing regarding "Western Oregon Journal"
photo editor Rebecca Miller's iMac computer. She
is still having problems connecting to the shared
Student Media folder, although she followed the
instructions provided by UCS to the letter, which
consist of: click on "Go" at the top on the
desktop; connect to server; type
smb://share.wou.edu/share/clubs/student_media;
type connect and then the student logs on, she was
not able to get to the shared folder. We tried
this a couple of times and Becca is figuring that
because she is not an administrator, she is not
able to get into the system and get to the folder.
However, I was able to log on for her.
 
Do you think you could send someone back over please?
