sorry to be an old fogie but I so would appreciate
it if this change could happen after the end of
term when grades are submitted.  Could this maybe
be postponed until Tue June 19 even though your
preference is a lot earlier.  I know a changeover
is not that big a deal to you but for old fogie me
it is.  This has been such a hectic term I would
SO prefer to wait . . . .Thoughts?

Susan:

This email is with regard to the setup and
delivery of your new office computer, an iMac-21.
 You had asked to wait until June to have your new
machine setup.

As June is just around the corner, I wanted to
find out when you'd like to have the new machine
delivered and setup.  I have the new machine ready
to go.

I would prefer that we do this earlier in the
month.  This will allow us to clear space in
anticipation of new equipment purchases as we
approach the end of the fiscal year.

Also, do you have any data to be moved from the
old to the new machine?

correct and, while I am always up for an update, I
would prefer not to do a replacement until after
finals week of W 12 term.  I'm a bit obsessive
compulsive about needing my routines with and the
predictability of familiarity with my existing
desktop as things get progressively more hectic
this and the the next 2 weeks.  Could I maybe
schedule a trade over for the Monday of spring
break and/or the first week of Spring classes?  
And as I compose this response to you, I am
actually thinking I am content making do until the
end of this academic year if that's an option too
. . . Let me know if it is a "use it or lose it"
offer when it comes to getting a replacement and I
may postpone to June if I can ;)
