Can you provide a status update on this service
request from April 20? She has yet to receive a
response

Dr. Parker is our new Associate Director and is
working from her home in Texas until she can
complete her move to Oregon in June. During this
transition there is much work to be accomplished.
Her reliance on a functioning laptop is critical,
not only while working at home, but as she
travels to meetings around the country.

As an additional tech note: The laptop is able to
bootup, but at no time, from powerup to shutdown,
does anything appear on the screen.

Dear Help Desk,

I am more than willing to send my laptop back to
WOU via a secure shipping option.

I live in Lubbock, Texas and am working remotely
for WOU until I relocate officially in June. I
depend upon the WOU laptop as my primary work
computer.

This is my address:

Dr. Amy T. Parker
3214 69th Street
Lubbock, TX 79413

My home number is 806-368-6933
My cell number is 806-445-6836

I do have a Fed EX near my home but need a proper
label or process for getting it securely shipped
to you.

Thanks for your help with this matter.

Amy

I also failed to mention that I tried working
remotely with the Technology Coordinator on our
grant. Together we tried:

Fn8 - cycle through presentation modes
Fn up arrow - to increase brightness
    Power-up without battery procedure

Hello,

My name is Amy Parker and I work remotely for
TRI-WOU. My Dell laptop- 20110556* is having a
problem with the screen display. Although the
computer is booting up, the screen is black.

I am heavily dependent upon this computer for
work. I would prefer to get it repaired locally.
Currently I live in Lubbock, Texas and am
relocating to Monmouth in June.

Please advise.

Thank you.

Amy T. Parker, Ed.D.
Associate Director of NCDB
