Hi,

My university issued tablet #20110617[Edit Inv] may have a
defective charging port/slot. The S/N is
C10KAS164410 12.

I have not been able to charge it smoothly since I
first received it a few months ago. I had to plug
in and unplug several times before it started to
charge. It got worse the last few times, and
finally it just totally failed yesterday. The
battery lasts very long after each charge, so I
probably have only had about 5 complete charge
cycles since I first received it. Currently, there
is 0 power left. With the manufacture¿s warranty,
can I have the charging port/slot replaced? Should
I contact the manufacture directly or the
Computing Service will assist me? Thank you in
advance.
