I was imaging in NS all day with the techs and
tried to get there. Sent a tech, but by that time
he had gone home for the day.

He will be in his office tomorrow and has his
laptop and computer so hopefully the issue can be
resolved. It is the same problem before, the docs
not converting.

Error: Word cannot start the converter mswrd632.

Certain Word files cannot be opened. When looking
at their properties, the files are not recognized
as being Word documents even though the file
extension is .doc. Tried running a repair which
did not help. Removed
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared
Tools\Text Converters\Import\MSWord6.wpc which did
not help. Ran a Malwarebytes scan and removed two
threats located in the registry concerning
MSOffice. That also did not help. The files may
have been corrupted. He is going to bring in his
laptop the files are originally on. He also had
them on a USB stick which may also be corrupted as
many files on the stick are no longer functional.

He cannot open several files. He is getting a pop
up that asks asking him to remove and instal a
converter.

It started about a week ago. He has re-started the
computer.

The files are under "My docs" on the H Drive
