load a batch file...I don't know what that means...sounds like

Thursday I work from 11:30 am - 4:30 pm.
However, if you can't make it in that time slot there is going to 
be a tech here all day and if you give them the task number 
(#48412) they will be able to look up exactly what is going on 
and be able to help you.

I'm trying to print out my documents (like quizzes) I need for 
class.  (This is hypothetical; since I am on sabbatical, this term I 
need to print out the papers I've submitted for publication.  

I can be on campus late morning, if that works?  name your 
time...

Yeah that might help out as we will be able to see first hand what 
the problem is.

Are you trying to print your class documents remotely and have 
your students pick them up from Debbie? Once on campus you 
should be able to print from any wired ethernet port.

Until Thursday though, let me know if putting the documents on 
the I: drive works for you.

I'll try that, Andrew, but it doesn't address the basic problem--I 
do need to be able to print, from home, independently of 
someone else's assistance.   One situation: I teach next term MW 
8:00am.  I have to be able to have my class documents ready; 
Debbie's  way too busy to help me in the early mornings.
Would it help if I brought my laptop to campus?  I have to come 
in on Thursday anyway.

One thing you can try is to remote into your computer and put 
the file you want to print on your department's I: drive. Then 
have Debbie, or any other one of your colleagues, open up the 
document and print it for you.  The I: drive has enough space for 
almost any size document you may have.

Let me know if that works for you.

Description: Remoting in to her computer to print.

I was wondering if your printing trial worked on Tuesday?
If you weren't able to get to it, that's no problem. Just give us a call 
or an email when you get a chance to try out the printing remotely.

Yeah that works great.
I was just following up and making sure you were taken care of. I 
will write that in the service request so we can have a tech know 
what is happening if you have to call back for any immediate 
help that day.

She is on sabbatical and is remoting into her computer on 
campus. I had her remote in using 
hu90511langem.mash.wou.edu instead of her IP (when she does 
that she needs to use the mash\langem username)

When I connected through her account I was about to get to the 
normall \\krusty list of printers.
When she remoted in from her computer (under the same 
account) it brought up five folders: 
data
PCCOUNTER
REMNST
SharedApps
Users

She is going to wait a few days to print the article as it is the first 
week of school. She said she would call back if the printers don't 
work when she tries them the second time.

Again, she is on sabbatical so email or call at 503-315-2221
