I created the start of the new Group policy for
West House. The policy maps the printer to the
computers.

BU70525Student and BU70526Student need to have
WH-WestHouse printer the default printer for all
users logging in.

Hi Dianna,

The name change of the Xerox printer is complete
on Krusty.  You will add it to your computer the
same way you did when it was called loophole.  You
can now find it under WH-WestHouse.  Please print
out a test page to check to make sure it is
functioning properly for you.  We will now start
the process of making it the default printer for
those two general use computers in that area.  I
will let you know what that has been completed.

Printer name needed to be changed from Loophole to
WestHouse.  Paul changed the name in DNS.  I
deleted the printer loophole but could not delete
the port - it said it was still in use.  Printer
is now called WH-WestHouse.  Dave can now make
this printer the default printer on the two
general use computers in that area.

Emailed Dianna to let her know that both Win7 and
WinXP users will use Krusty to find the printer. 
I loaded both x64 and x86 printers on Krusty.

Hello Dianna,

We got the new printer set up over the network. You can add it 
just like you would any other printer by going to \\krusty and 
finding the printer. The new printer is called "WH-Loophole". It 
should almost at the very bottom of the list. If you have problem 
connecting to it we can come by and walk you through it.

The drivers may or may not work with windows xp computers. 
They will for sure work with windows 7, but we are in the 
process of getting the xp drivers on the server.

I need some additional information regarding service request 
#48634

Description: NEW EQUIP SETUP: Xerox printer needs to be set up 
and delivered to room 101. (Order # 4032)

I was wondering if you already have an active ethernet port for the 
new printer? If so we can come set up the printer for you. However, 
if not, could you please call Megan at 88925 and talk with her 
about getting a port set up so that we can come install the new 
printer.

A Xerox Phaser 4620/DT Laser Printer needs a
network set up and to be delivered to  West House
room 101. The printer W# is 20120404[Edit Inv]. The printer
is located on the counter in ITC 008. The big part
of the printer needs to be set on top of the
little part.
