She called to set up a time to deliver it. She
has office hours at 2pm so if you could bring it
around then that would be awesome

When Amy brings in her iPad, it should be handed
off to Laven or Andrew to call AppleCare

Hi Amy,

You can drop your iPad off at the service request
desk in ITC 009. Please have your service request
number on hand so the person at the desk can
quickly access your request and hand your iPad off
to the appropriate person. We will make sure to
call AppleCare to see if they will fix/replace it
or if we will need to charge the department for
the repair. Once AppleCare has been contacted
after we have your iPad, we can give you a better
idea of how long it will take to get it back to you.

Thank you,
Lori

I can bring it in first thing tomorrow, Tricia.
Where should I deliver it?

Thanks for the help.

Yes, please make the service request on behalf of
Amy. The problem is a cracked corner of the screen
when it was accidentally dropped.

Amy - When you take it to ITC 009, reference
TRD440 to cover the costs

Randy,

The Apple iPad 2 W#20110562[Edit Inv] Serial #
DN6GXNSBDFHY is covered by Apple care until 2-5-2014.
What is wrong with it specifically?
If it is something that needs to be repaired it
should be brought in to UCS office in ITC 009 to
have a tech call it into Apple for repair and/or
replacement. If it is accidental damage then we
will need to have an index code to charge the
$49.00 service fee when it is dropped off.
Depending on the damage Apple can decide to repair
or replace with like product according to the
warranty agreement.

I have made a Service Request under Randy Klumph (
should it really be Amy Parker?) Please reference
service request #48785 when you bring it in or
contact UCS.

Randy,

I need to get the iPad's WOU number to give you
the exact details on the warranty it hold and then
I can work with our techs to find the best avenue
to get it repaired as well as arranging the
payment of any costs that may incur. Joanie can
setup that payment prior to the ipad going out for
repair.

If purchased with AppleCare(the majority are) then
they have 2 years of coverage. The specifics on
the accidental damage are as follows:

Coverage for up to two incidents of accidental
damage from handling of your iPad, each subject to
a $49 service fee1

http://www.apple.com/support/products/ipad.html

I will look for your reply with the WOU number
and/or serial number, and then create a task for a
tech to contact you to arrange repair if you are
willing to cover the $49.00 service fee.
