It get¿s the please wait screen before the
Control/Alt/Delete screen and just stays there. Of
course I can¿t get it to do it today. It only
seems to do it when I really need it ¿ of course.

Hi Judy,

Can you please provide me with the 8 digit WOU
number from your computer?  What kind of computer
do you have - Mac or PC?  Is your computer taking
a long time to even load a screen to let you login
or does that pop up quickly and it takes forever
to load after you login?  This will help us better
troubleshoot the issue, but I may  have more
questions for you later.

Hi Lori,

My laptop sometimes takes 20 ¿ 30 minutes to open
if it opens at all. Other times it opens right up.
When it takes a long time I force it to close then
give it a few minutes and try to open again.
Sometime that works sometimes it doesn¿t and I
have to do it again. It always ends up opening (at
least so far).

One of my faculty is having trouble with her new
WOU laptop we bought in June. Since she lives in
Roseburg, I was hoping you'd have some suggestions
to try before she has to bring it up to campus.
Here's her email...

I¿m having some trouble with my computer.
Sometimes it takes forever to boot up, not just a
minute or two but sometimes 20 or 30 minutes.
Sometimes I force it to shut down and restart and
it comes up sometimes I have to shut it down a
couple of times. Then other times it just opens
right up. Idea¿s?
