New Service Request has been created to install
new printer.  Testing has to be completed before
installation.  Please refer to SR# 49095.

Printer is in, but needs to be set up by Lacey
first.  Will need to add it to the print server
and perform some testing before deployment can happen.

Submitted a purchase request to get a Canon Color
imageCLASS MF8380Cdw multifunction color laser
printer with extra ink.

Contacted Pacific Office Automation on Friday. 
They deal mostly with business class hardware and
dont have many desktop multifunction printers from
which to choose.  Was recommended by Phil to get
the Lexmark desktop mfp which runs $1500-2000. 
Need to look into alternative options.

Hi Dianna,

We are planning to come to your office Monday to
help Cyndi connect to that printer.  I also heard
back from John regarding the Xerox printer.  It
isnt great news, but he mentioned that he talked
with Xerox and they want him to try a few
different methods to make sure that it is in fact
the main board causing all the issues.  I am going
to try contacting John again to see if these are
things we could try before having him come back
out.  I am sorry this is such an inconvenience for
you and the rest of the users.

John called me back and notified me that a new
board would cost $619.  He mentioned that he also
called Xerox and they told him to try a few other
troubleshooting methods before ordering either a
new board or printer since the printer is no
longer under warranty.

John came out to look at the printer.  He is going
to get us a price quote on the part that is
needed.  This printer is not covered by warranty,
so we need to know how much the part is and
installation before we think about buying a new
multifunction station.

Dave and I looked into the issue and cannot get
the computers to talk to the printer over the
network or locally.  Called Cascade and opened a
work order.  John should call me back within a day
or two to set up an appointment to take a look at
the printer.

For the last week or so, every time I try to 
print to my Xerox WorkCentre 6505 (WOU ID 
20100807) it tells me that it's "offline". My 
printer name is \\krusty\AD-Candybar. I need your 
assistance to get it back up and running, please. 
The fax and scan functions both work fine.
