DVD still wont play

Changed out DVD Drive and cables

Updated software/windows update


Wont play on either WMP or VLC
Plays on same type of computer on windows 7

IT was working yesterday, but not today.  The
power is on and it is securely plugged in.  

She has power-cycled it and checked the settings
from the computer 20090315[Edit Inv].
