She was composing an email in Thunderbird and a
message popped up saying her computer is infected.
 She tried to exit out of it and the message kept
popping up.  She tried restarting and all the
messages popped back up when the computer started
back up.  I had her try to open Sophos to run a
scan and it took her to a place to go purchase
something for the anti-virus.  Couldn't get the
Sophos to run.  She has the computer off now and
is available all day till about 3.
