OS installed fine. Was able to name and bind. Installed sophos 
and ninite updates. Installed the Stella Save-disabled software.
Reassigning to Jared to make sure it works tomorrow morning 
and to deliver if it does.

Let Lori know it works and she can cancel the warranty request 
for the HDD

Tried switching out the original hard drive with three others and 
had the same issue. Sometimes it would not display the 
Unmountable Boot Volume line of the BSOD though. Tried 
switching out cables as well but that did not solve it. May be a 
motherboard failure.

Hooked it up over there and tried to boot it up. Fails. Displays a 
BSOD that says UNMOUTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME. Full image of the 
error is attached. It won't boot up in safe mode at all either. 
Hooked up the loaner again and returned the computer to 
Andrew's desk.

Hi,

One of the 6 lab computers in NS 204 is having
problems booting up. We need to have all 6 in
working-order for next week's classes.

It's WOU # is 20120125[Edit Inv].  When I try to restart it,
the message I get is "Your computer was unable to
start" "Start up repair is checking your system
for problems". However, it stays on that screen
for several hours, & when I manually override
(turn computer off & on again), it goes to the
black start-up screen, then back to the "unable to
start" page.

Do you have any loaner computers you could swap
this one out with, if it can't be fixed before
next Tuesday?  The programs we need to have
working on it are STELLA 10.0 (save-disabled), and
an internet connection - Firefox, Chrome, etc.

NS 204 is open all day Friday & Monday if a UCS
tech could come over here then, that would be
great. The room is in use all day Thursday, but we
could go in & pull the computer from the room if
need be.
