Holli,

I left you a voice mail on your personal phone but in case you 
missed it somehow, here's the scoop:

For some reason, your Mac is deciding that it doesn't want to run 
software updates, period. It always fails whenever the user goes 
to actually install them. It can find the necessary updates, but 
just won't install them. As a result of this issue, the computer is 
also unable to add the NPEHallway printer as well. I think the 
best option we have to resolving these problems is to upgrade 
your Mac to the latest operating system, Mountain Lion.

Before I go ahead and do that though, I wanted to get your 
permission to do so, just in case you have any specialized 
software that uses the older operating system or if you had some 
files on your computer that weren't saved to the T: drive, your 
networked drive. If you get back to me today (July 8), I can start 
working on it now while you're out of the office, that way your 
productivity will not be inhibited.

I'm also unable to add you as an admin to your machine at this 
time without your account password. I already have the 
username (howardh) from the note you left on your desk.

Side note -- It looks like a duplicate service request was created 
for you, one made by Gonzo Grasis (#50986) that entails both 
your needs and the needs of another staff member. Rather than 
jumping back and forth between both, I'm going to close the one 
you made (#50980). Don't worry though, I will still be working 
with you on these issues; I'm just closing the former one for 
organizational purposes.
