Lori changed out the keyboard.

Task reassigned to Lori Burgeson.

Keyboard needs to be replaced. Lori is ordering one currently. 
Laptop is on the loaner shelf behind Lori's desk pending the 
replacement of the keyboard.

Task reassigned to UCS Tech.

The keyboard to the laptop has not been working
since she got it back.  There is a whole line of
keys that aren't responding.

I spoke with Lori regarding the laptop and she
said it was legible for upgrade. In so doing I
upgraded the machine from window XP to Window 7
and did all of necessary updates that need to get
the machine running.

It doesn't shut down.

This is the message I got when trying to login. I
did not plug in the ethernet cable this time.

"The system could not log you in. Make sure your
user name and password are correct, then type your
password again. Letters in passwords must be typed
using the correct case."

Then I changed the Log on to: this computer (it
was set that way after the first time I logged in)
to Mash. "The system cannot log you on now because
the domain MASH is not available."

When we plugged in the ethernet cable, it would
still not allow us to login.
