Computer is unable to open excel documents and gives a ". . .
not a valid W32 application" error. Went over, tried to repair it in
the control panel without success. Uninstalled Office 2007. When
I went to reinstall it, the computer gave me an error message
about it not having the proper digital signature.

Sophos began giving me an alert message in the taskbar
notifying me that it had found a virus (see attached image) and
that it was currently in quarantine. Upon attempting to launch
Sophos, it gave me the same exact invalid digital signature error
message as before. I tried running Malwarebytes and ran into the
same issue. I was able to successfully run SuperAntiSpyware and
it is currently running a full scan.

The user has been instructed to call the helpdesk when the scan
is complete or runs into any problems. I will check back later
today as well.

If SuperAntiSpyware is unable to resolve the issue, the only other
thing we can do is re-image it. We need to make sure to carefully
document the necessary applications that he requires if this
option is to be used.
