No sound was coming from laptop speakers, or external 
speakers/headphones that were plugged in. Changed sound 
settings and updated drivers, which caused the audio to return. 
Audio on laptop speakers was still very quiet, but when plugged 
into the external speakers or headphones it worked fine. User 
was satisfied with this solution.

No sound is coming from speakers of laptop, when
you put headphones in there is no sound, and
separate speakers are not making sound either. 
She has tried restarting and same problem.  She
has noticed the issue for about a week and can't
get anything to work.

She is in her office till 115 today and then back
after 3.
