The new fan arrived today, need to call to see when 
we can replace it. Also  need to keep the old one 
after it is replaced.

Fan is potentially being warrantied, won't be able to replace at 
11:30 today.

Windows would load and function normally, the fan was making 
a loud grinding/buzzing noise. Ran dell diagnostic to see if I 
could see the error for myself, but no errors were found. Also 
opened the case to make sure nothing was touching the fan, but 
that was clear as well. 

If possible the fan should be replaced, Julie says around 11:30am 
today would be the best time for that to happen.

computer error hard-drive fan failure.  John took
it apart and found that the fan in the front case
needs replaced.
