Kim still has one of our loaner laptops which we
need to have returned as we need to continually
loan out to other users.  Trying to warranty a few
pieces, but may need to have some hardware covered
by the department.  Started with the hard drive

She called back, I let her know about the warranty
issue and recommended that she talked to her
department chair.

Talked to Lori about it. Said that even though
it's under warranty, Dell will not fix it because
it falls under abuse. Will need to call her back
to let her know that it will need to be replaced
by her department.

Dropped by with her laptop. One key has been
broken off and the hard drive is probably crushed.
Hard drive makes scratching noises when running
and cannot be found by the laptop on start-up. The
entire thing is likely ruined. Laptop is at the
front desk now. Will need to open it up to confirm
the damage and then talk to Laven/Lori to see what
the options are for this.

A book shelf drop onto her computer yesterday.
Everything looks ok except when she turned on her
computer is said problem has been detected windows
has been shut down to prevent damage to computer.
After this it started a physical memory download.
She would like this looked at today if possible.I
did not get a wou number sense she sent this thru
a voice mail and is now in a orientation. 

She is in a orientation tell 2:30 but is keeping
her door unlocked. Her password to her computer is
