Took the printers and put them in PDR stack. Both Paul and Elayne 
are connected to the replacement.

We've given them a printer (DEP-Printer) and Paul is connected to it. 
I can take the other two printers now.

Lori ended up talking with Bill and Paul and decided that we would 
lend them a printer for a few months while his department gets set 
up and running fully. I tested one out for her and it looks like it's 
good to go. Just needs to be added to the network.

Talked to Lori. Said that the people in the old TRC area cannot 
use those printers at all because they aren't theirs. Called Scott 
Carter to let him know that we plan on taking them away and he 
requested that we hold off on PDR'ing them one more day so 
that he can decide if they still want to keep one of those (he's not 
sure that any of the printers in that building can print 11X17). I 
told him that I would call him tomorrow or so before we ended 
up PDR'ing them.

Hey Paul,

I'm still working on that service request for you regarding adding 
printers Lab-TRC-Bones and Lab-TRC-TRCColor. Both printers 
aren't in Active Directory or Krusty anymore at all, which would 
explain why you cannot add them on any of the computers. I 
need to talk to my boss about why they might have been 
removed, though I suspect that it was as a result of the TRC 
move. I'll be sure to get back to you as soon as I learn anything.

I was able to search for a networked printer and
find the 'Bones' printer (LaserJet) but it will
not install the driver for it.  It just hangs when
trying to do that step.

Talked to Megan. She thinks that Lori removed it from Krusty 
(and Active Directory too) because the TRC has moved and is 
no longer paying for those printers. Will need to confirm this 
with her later.

Printer was not connected to a hot internet port. Also, printers Lab-
TRC-Bones and Lab-TRC-TRCColor are not showing up on Krusty. 
Will need to talk to Megan on Monday about this.

Hi,

There is a printer, Lab-TRC-Bones on Krusty,
located in ITC 204 that I am trying to connect to
print from.  I cannot connect to it nor install
the driver for it.

I printed an 'information page' on the printer and
on the Embedded Jetdirect Page it says:
LAN ERROR - Loss of carrier.  The IP Address is
shown as 0.0.0.0.  Host Name says "Not Specified'.
  It is plugged into the network and is set for
DHCP.  Clearly it is not configured correctly or
the Jetdirect hardware is not working correctly.

I would appreciate if someone could test out the
printer on the network.  If/when it is working, I
could use some help configuring it on my PC in ITC
room 204C.
