Series of troubleshooting done on the Dell
Optiplex Adam and I realize that the RAM was the
cause of the system not loading windows. I remove
the RAM from the system unit and did some cleaning
and mounted it back in the system. That solve the
problem.

I call earlier and left a message for the
professor. He later call the front desk and
informed them about the time he is available. I
check his office, with series of trouble shooting
done I realize the power supply in the system unit
was faulty.Initially I thought it just the monitor
going in power save mode but I realize there
wasn't sufficient power flowing through the system.

He also has a office roommate named Dave Shaw who
is having the exact same problem. He asked a co
worker if she would be able to let a tech in if
one of them were not there and she was happy to do
that. Her name is Kathy witwer. She is here 8AM to
5PM everyday. She would like to be called right
before a tech goes down there so she can meet
them. Her extension is 88421

When he started up his computer it says "going
into power save mode". His tower has power and is
working fine. I informed him this usually meant
the cables to the tower and/or monitor are not
plugged in but he checked those and still having a
problem.

He is around Wed 1130-1230 and then 415-5 he is in
his office. That is the only day he is around this
week.
