Piece that holds color ink cartridge was broken/missing. Had to 
tape it down in order for the cartridge to be in contact with the 
contacts. After that it would print, but would only use magenta 
ink despite the color cartridge being nearly empty and black 
being full. 

I looked online for solutions but none that I tried worked. 
Supposedly replacing the color cartridge would cause it to print 
in black again, despite that not making any sense.

There isn't anything else I can do with it, it will probably require 
at the very least a new ink cartridge, or it may just need to be 
replaced.

Brought printer back to office to test.

There is a red light on the printer but they have
filled the ink and there is paper for the printer.
 When they print to it, it doesn't have any error
and just never gets to the printer.

HP deskjet960C is what she sees when she goes to
print.

printer is in TODD116.  It is in an unlocked room.
