Got a call from him. He will be teaching from Noon to 4, but has 
everything moved over to his H drive. Said that he was going to 
leave the door unlocked so that I could grab the computer.

Shoot. I've seen this exact same issue before with someone in Terry 
House. The only thing we can do is re-image the machine. 
Hopefully that will fix it for him.

let him operate web browsers.

Was able to activate it by clicking the "Get Genuine Now" option that Windows 
offered me upon logging in.

When I skipped the option previously and ran the slmgr commands, I ran into an 
error message stating that the specified product key was blocked. I have attached a 
picture of the error message.

I'm betting that this fix is temporary, so I left him a note telling him that I would 
call him on Friday to see if the issue has been resolved and gave him instructions 
to call us if it popped up again between now and then.

Called him, heading over now. Said that he wouldn't be in his office 
but that it would be unlocked and logged in for me.

Hi ;
 I recently had a problem with mu computer  about
counterfeit window; Computer services staff came
to  try to fix it. The same black window with the
same message is back again.
 Could somebody  come and take a look at it again?

Craig and I went over.  It originally said that
Windows was not genuine and provided no info in
computer properties.  I logged in, and it
activated.  Updated Windows too.  

His laptop wasn't connecting to the internet. 
Craig rebound it, but it still required cisco
agent.  Lobnibe will use it with Cisco for now.

Turned on his computer today and there is a
message that says he does not have genuine version
of windows.  He can't load anything from there.

He is around till 2 today.
