Excel document was stored on network drive. It would not open 
shortcuts created for documents stored in a network drive, this 
was solved by adding the network drive (groupj.wou.edu) to the 
local intranet zone in internet options. 

Original file was read only. Error leads me to believe the file was 
in use by a person or process on the local machine, but 
restarting computer and ending any microsoft office related 
process didn't fix it. Was able to create a copy of the file with a 
similar name that can be edited, which seemed to be an 
acceptable solution.

She created something in Excel and now when she
tries to open the document, it says it is locked
by computer and she is unable to open it.  She has
tried restarting the computer as well and was
having the issue yesterday as well.  She has tried
opening the document in Excel.

She will be around all day in NS104.
