Cara has her laptop back. I mentioned to Scott that
I was going to close this ticket but we would work
through any issues that Cara finds after getting the
rebuild done.

Scott picked up the laptop yesterday, but needed to
have Cara login to SQL Plus on the XP VM in order to
get it on the Win 7 side. Will check in today to
see how it's going

Scott needs to install Auction and her RDP
software. Microsoft is no longer supporting Win
XP as well, so I will talk with scott about
possibly upgrading her software at some point so
we can better support her needs.

****This is an email****
Hi Scott,

I have a temp laptop now in my office that is
working. :) However, due to my potentially be
absent due to my treatment side effects, I am
asking that you be made a contact person for this
service request.

The Tech took my laptop back to UCS to see if they
can figure out what's wrong with it, but if it
turns out to be 'fatal'... I would like you to
help make sure the new computer or my reformatted
old laptop comes back with all the programs I'll
need to work.

Here's what I don't want to loose:
Desktop files (I have a few downloads from emails
on my desktop) plus a snapshot of my shortcuts so
I can re-create them.
Programs that were installed on my old laptop that
I need on a potential new one:
Windows XP Mode (to run Monarch)
PLSQL Developer
SQL Plus
Pdf printer or creator
... anything else that is installed on my C drive
that you think I will need again and I'm not
remembering now...
I have a few programs that need to be installed
from my office, the disks are in my office, top
shelf.
Monarch (in Windows XP Mode)
Lotus 123 (Lotus Smartsuite box in my office, only
use the 123 spreadsheet program.
Auction - you have that disk. :)
Crescendo - my planned giving software. I have a
new disk that just arrived this week, it's on my
desk in front of my monitors.
One thing about Crescendo -- The files should be
located on the network at
I:\Inst_adv\PLNDGIVE\Crespro, but please make sure
that there are no data files for Crescendo on my C
Drive, just in case! I can't loose these files for
all our current annuities and trusts. (The program
defaults to the C Drive>)
At the minimum, if the laptop is terminal, can we
keep it for awhile so I can make sure I don't need
to get any files off of it? Like we did last time
I got a new computer?

THANK YOU for your help.
Cara

The only thing showing up is her C: drive, she is
missing all her shared and H: drive. She tried
restarting and also tried mapping her I: drive but
error said Windows cannot access. She knows she
has rights to it.

She will be around till 2 today. Emily at front
desk can get you in just I case she steps out.
