ran a Microsoft fix it software and it fixed the 
issues, pretty much just made it the default 
printer

talking with this student--same problem.

There is a big problem with a lot of the computers
not wanting to connect to the printer in the lab.
 It says that windows cannot connect to the
printer the port is unknown.  Can you please come
take a look at this for me.

"Windows cannot connect to the printer, specified
port is unknown."  error on computer about the
NS216 printer when he selects the printer.  The
printer says ready and others are printing to it.

The computer has been restarted but still not
connecting to the printer.  Computer is in the
back row, third on in.
