The ethernet cord was missing the clip allowing it to move slightly, 
and when it moved it lost most of the connections on the machine. 
It could still browse the internet and do a few other things, but it 
was very slow. Things like network drives were not working at all. 
Moving the machine slightly killed the connection altogether, 
Plugging the cord securely into the machine caused everything to 
work properly again.

Rebooted computer because it was having issues
opening any Microsoft apps and now it won't open
word or access I drive.

Needs help asap.
