The software is installed and functional.

You had to run the program as an administrator. 
As such, I made Brownbridge an admin on these two
computers, so he could run the program for his
students.

him on installing this software?

Yep, you¿re right, it was Andrew who installed the software last 
time.

OK, if there is a UCS tech available tomorrow afternoon, that 
would be great.

Hi Jared,

I believe Richard Kavanagh was the UCS tech who installed the 
KeyMath 3 software last time. If Richard is still working at UCS, 
he might have some ideas for you. I know I saw him on campus 
in Fall term??? ¿ And how do I/we ensure that the KeyMath 3 
software stays on those 2 computers so we don¿t have to do a 
reinstall every year??? Any ideas on that?

I did get my e-mail to work properly - I had not put in my full 
WOU e-mail address on the outgoing mail server setup.

I believe that when you are installing the KeyMath 3 software, 
you have to specify the location of a database on the computer 
or on a network server as some school districts put a central 
dbase on a server and all speducators in the school district use it 
for record keeping & report generation. You actually have to 
create a KeyMath 3 database before it will install the rest of the 
software. The one thing that I remember was a bit tricky was 
after installation, the tech had to make sure the software was 
available to all students and that the software used the same 
database each time

I won¿t be at WOU today (Wed) but will get to WOU Thursday 
around 1 pm at the latest as I¿m supervising in a Salem-Keizer 
school all morning. Should we plan to meet Thursday p.m. to try 
to get the KeyMath 3 software installed??

On Tuesday two young men from UCS came to my 
office about a reported problem and at that time I 
asked them if they would be able to install the 
KeyMath 3 scoring software on two computers in ED 
111. I gave them the KeyMath 3 scoring software 
CD. That is the only copy of the scoring software 
that I have, so I do need it back after the 
installations have been made.

The two computers in ED 111 are on the wall with 
the windows and there¿s a sign with arrows to the 
2 computers stating the various standardized test 
scoring software that is installed on those two 
computers. 

The KeyMath 3 ASSIST scoring software was 
installed on those two computers but for some 
reason, it is not there now. All 22 of my students 
in SpEd 642 will need to use that software to 
enter their test scores and generate reports that 
they are to submit on Tuesday, 2/18.

I will be back at WOU on Thursday afternoon ¿ I 
have supervision all morning. 

I¿d really appreciate it if the KeyMath 3 software 
could be installed on the 2 ED 111 computers 
sometime on Thursday.

Brownbridge's laptop was not there, so we couldn't
work on his email issue. The account information
that he gave us was incorrect as well.

Tried to install the Keymath software. Runs into a
problem when it tries to connect to the local
database. Will need to talk to either contact or
Tricia to see what it needs to be connecting to.

Software and account information is on my desk.

He should be around today in the afternoon. No
time specified.

Got the software from Brownbridge. On my desk now.

Also reported having a problem with sending mail from his Apple 
Mail email program and getting calendar events onto his 
Calendar program. Both tools are connected to his WOU account. 
I have his username and password on a piece of paper inside the 
KeyMath 3 cd case.

He will not be available until Tuesday afternoon, but is okay with 
someone coming over when he is not around.

Two computers in ED 111 were suppose to have the
kaymath scoring software installed but students
aren't able to find it.

The two computers are 20130131[Edit Inv] and 20130132[Edit Inv].

Students need access to this program as soon as
possible.
