Laptop should be able to log in when off campus if there is 
already a profile created for them. Tested this by having 
someone who has never used this computer log in once while on 
the network, then disconnecting wifi and logging out, then 
having them log back in. This showed that it will allow log ins 
while not on the campus network. It did ask if I wanted to make 
a mobile profile on the first login, if anyone said no to that, it 
would only work on campus. Changed the settings so it would 
automatically create the mobile profile, instead of asking to 
make one. It will bring up a message saying that it cannot 
connect to the H: drive when not on the network, but thats 
normal.

We have once again gotten laptop 20130077[Edit Inv] returned
with the student not being able to log into it off
campus. There is something wrong with this laptop.
The other laptops seem to be working just fine.
Can someone please fix this?

Cannot make macs automatically connect to H drive when signing 
in. Printed out instructions on how to connect manually. Will only 
be able to connect when on campus network.

Hi,

 

We are still have trouble with laptop 20130077[Edit Inv].
Students who are checking it out are having
trouble logging into it. When they do their ¿H¿
drive is not available. This is happening on and
off campus.
