Research suggests that this is a bug within Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain 
Lion. Login bugs on Mountain Lion are apparently common. 

Amavis is part of the OS X Server that does mail filtering and the 
like to deal with spam and malware. It also exists on the main 
desktop version of OS X but it doesn't do anything. It's likely that 
this is the result of one of those login bugs.

This is unlikely to happen again and there is nothing to worry 
about.

Computer let me log in. Can't tell if there are 
any issues or not. Nothing on sophos antivirus 
looks off. I started a new scan. No problems. 

Login name was AMaViS Daemon. Who is that?
