Need to move stuff off of hard drive, either on to her network drive, 
or an external if she has one. Laptop is currently on the login 
screen, so getting it to boot shouldn't be a problem.

Left vm explaining what is going on. We should be able to log in 
now to back stuff up to network. Boot time is much better than 
before, it only took a couple minutes compared to the 20+ that it 
was taking yesterday.

Reparing disk/permissions to hopefully get it to load more 
quickly. Couldn't find a working hard drive to back things up on, 
if I can get it to the log in screen hopefully we will be able to 
move things onto a network drive. The slow load time might be a 
result having too much on the hard drive.

She called asking about the status on the computer

This max is running off of a OS system that it did
not originally come with. She needed the OS system
for a program she had to have for her job called
Boinx. When she was using the program a message
popped up saying that she needed to clear disc
files. She did what it asked and re started the
computer and now it will not load all the way
after turning on. The computer also over heats
really fast when on. 

Her students work and save a lot of work onto this
computer and it would be really hard on the
students if their work got erased so she would
like everything back up before being worked on.
She was not able to back up any files before this
happened.

She left the lap top with us. I put the lap top on
a table behind the UCS help desk with a note
stating who's computer.
