Dave's MacBook Air will no longer power on.  Tried 
different chargers, which didnt allow the device 
to charge.  Dave backed up everything on his flash 
storage.  Unit was taken to Mac Store.  They 
replaced the following:

left i/o board, logic board, IPD cable and LIO 
cable replaced by apple. unit powers on, boots and 
operates properly. unit passes apple service test.

Picking up this afternoon.
