Check the issue with the Mac computer not been
able to print from the network printer. I realize
the problem was the printer drivers. uninstalling
and reinstalling the drivers solve the problem.

This computer showed the printer as connected 
originally. When she selscted this printer a 
message showed that the printer had been paused. 
When she pressed the "resume printing" button she 
was asked for her username and password to 
connect the printer. The sign in page then told 
her she was unable to connect to the printer.
