high priority and noting need for Medicat program

Hi Trisha,

I am hoping you can help me with this issue or 
point me in the right direction.

We were called earlier this week regarding a 
computer that is stationed at the Reception desk 
and used by Jennifer Grover.  This computer, 
unfortunately, is no longer under warranty and is 
having extensive hardware issues:  the motherboard 
has failed, the RAM has failed, and the hard drive 
is failing.  I have tried replacing parts with 
what we have, but the computer is beyond repair at 
this point and I cannot order parts through Dell 
since the warranty has expired.  I would suggest 
replacing the machine for Jennifer.

Please let me know if there is someone else I need 
to make aware of the situation so we can get 
something ordered for Jennifer or if you have 
further questions.

Swapped motherboard.  There are multiple hardware 
issues with this machine after replacing 
motherboard.  The RAM is bad and the hard drive is 
failing.  Because this unit is no longer under 
warranty, I am going to suggest they replace the 
unit.

Should set up a loaner computer in place of this 
one for now as it will take 1-2 business days to 
receive part

Computer is no longer under warranty and this 
computer is not in the GFA program.  Found a 
similar computer that is still under warranty, so 
warrantied Mobo through that computer.

She said it turned a solid blue for a split second
and then shuts down right after.  Some of the
other buttons are orange though.

blinking amber or if it is solid blue?

Computer not starting up today.  It gets power and
acts like it going to and then makes funny noises
and shuts back down.  She can't ever get the
computer to turn on.  The one and two are flashing
on the tower.
