The keyboard was recognized after restarting the computer and 
reseating the USB and PS/2 to USB adapter.

The computer has been restarted but every time she
gets to the log in screen, the computer won't log
on.  It says stuck at the cntl-alt-delete page.  I
had her make sure the keyboard was plugged in, and
it is.  She can't get onto her computer though.
