Disk repair failed, need to reimage,

Reset PRAM, repaired disk permissions, currently repairing hard 
disk. It will take a while, so I will check on it in the morning, Will 
need to reimage if it still is causing problems.

When turning on the laptop it gets stuck with a gray background 
with an apple logo and a spinning loading wheel.
